Mumbai Police nabs men behind IM terror emails!
|
The Mumbai Police on Monday claimed to have caught the people behind the terror emails sent by the Indian Mujahideen after the blasts in Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Delhi. Addressing a press conference, Mumbai Police Commissioner Hasan Ghafoor said that the police had picked up 5 people from Pune on September 28, who it suspects were behind the emails. Those arrested have been brought to Mumbai for further questioning.

Mumbai Police arrests terror mail suspects!

The Mumbai Crime Branch on Monday arrested five persons from Pune in connection with the terror emails sent before and after the recent blasts in Delhi and Gujarat. Those arrested have been brought to Mumbai for further interrogation.

Cash-for-vote: Clean chit for Amar Singh!

The Parliamentary Committee probing the cash-for-votes scam has found no clinching evidence against Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh and Congress` Ahmed Patel, sources said on Monday. The committee has prepared a draft report and circulated it among its members. The panel will next meet on October 17 and submit the report in Parliament the same day when its next session gets underway.
